Airgreets is a service provider that takes the hassle of short rentals out of your hands. We offer people that would like to rent out their home for a short period of time the support they need.

As it’s so important to be a good host and to be present when needed, many people still get scared by the idea of renting their home for a short time period while they are gone. Airgreets enables everyone to become great hosts without any hassle, and offers services for everything that comes with renting out a home, such as creating an online-profile, taking care of the booking requests, guest communications, key transfers, cleaning and payments.

Our service was made for people who are on the road for either business or private reasons that leave behind an empty home in one of the cities we operate in. This could be short business trips of 2 to 3 days, or a three-week summer vacation. During this time, we take care of everything for you.

Your key is stored completely safe, and will exclusively be taken out for bookings and travelers. Also, there are no addresses or full names written on the keys.

We require two keys from your home: one for us and one for the guest.

Definitely! We’d love to build upon your existing profile and, if needed, can bring it to a whole new level. All other steps we logically take as explained above.

Our greeter. For the key handover we do not use a third party; all of our handovers are done by Airgreets employees.

No, Airgreets is there for you. While you enjoy your time away, we take care of everything. And when you come back, you will find your home being spick-and-span.

Do you pre-select the guests or does every booking request translate automatically to a booking? 2017-08-22T10:00:19+00:00

It is very important to us that you are happy with the service we provide. Therefore, we want to make sure that respectful and reliable guests stay in your home. We do this by manually going through all booking requests and making sure the guests apply to our high standards. If you have any specific wishes regarding the kind of guests you would like to receive, simply let us know.

Airgreets uses Airbnb as its channel for your home. Travelers looking for a home in your city can find your home on Airbnb and can book through there. We communicate with your guests through the messaging function of Airbnb.

Paynebts and costs

Our service is free of basic charges or fixed costs – we use a comission modell, because we want to be succesful together with you. We charge 25% of your rental income – three quarters remain with you. Additionally, the one time cleaning fee which is paid by your guests is also part of our service fee.

You decide. To take any hassle from you, we recommend that the payment goes through our bank account. You receive a monthly, detailed overview of the finances, including your income that will be transferred to your account directly from us.

Alternatively, Airbnb can send you the money directly, after which you will receive a bill after every rental.

Absolutely not! Creating and maintaining the profile are completely free. Fixed costs are also nothing to worry about- you only pay when you earn money through our service.

Personal belongings and unsurance

What happens in the unlikely case where there are damages to my home? 2017-08-22T09:54:00+00:00

Firstly, we ask for a safety deposit for every booking, from which small damages can be paid. On top of that the Airbnb host insurance covers damages to your home or your belongings up to €800.000. Secondly, you are also covered for $1000.000 against third party claims for bodily injury or property damage on the Airbnb insurance. In the end, this is up to you. To be sure, we recommend putting portable valuables such as laptops or jewelry in a place where they are not in plain sight, such as a safe or a closet that can be locked.

The general conditions for short-period rentals are different from city to city. Please inform yourself beforehand, which terms apply to your city, and whether a short-term rental is allowed by your own rental contract.
